This video standards converter model does not support vertical frequency conversion between NTSC/60 Hz and PAL/50 so the output from this converter remains at 60Hz in PAL format, which will be only suitable for those PAL 60Hz compatible TV, TV with auto sync or vertical hold support and this PAL 60Hz can not be used for recording purpose.
To adjust from 60Hz NTSC to 50Hz PAL for vertical sync adjustment, you will need our universal model: BV4-1, which can work on any type of TV and can be used for recording purpose too.
